“Studying the interaction between ground dwelling rodents’ (European sousliks or Lesser mole-rats) spatial distribution and the abiotic soil characteristics by proximal soil and remote sensing methods may reveal the animals’ habitat preferences or requirements related to the soil.
The study would focus on research contributing to their in situ conservation.”Thesis supervisor: Csongor Gedeon
