“Studying the interaction between ground dwelling rodents’ (European sousliks or Lesser mole-rats) spatial distribution and the abiotic soil characteristics by proximal soil and remote sensing methods may reveal the animals’ habitat preferences or requirements related to the soil.
The study would focus on research contributing to their in situ conservation.”

Further requirements: M.Sc.; knowledge in relation to the topic and tools (georadar); willing to do field and office work; willing and practice in writing publications; English knowledge at advanced (C1) level;
