Description of the research topic
Far from thermodynamic equilibrium, temporal or spatial structures can spontaneously emerge in systems involving nonlinear cooperative processes. Chemical “dissipative structures” are one of the main topics of the nonlinear science. The main goal of the research work is to design and control of pattern and shape formation in nonlinear chemical systems.
