  • Description of the research topic

    The role of thalamocortical circuitry in the generation of absence epilepsy will be investigated using optogenetics and in vivo electrophysiological methods on a genetically determined epileptic mouse strain.

    Further requirements: Experience in electrophysiology, histological procedures or Matlab programming skills should be an advantage
