Two weeks ago at the Eurodoc annual conference 2020, we discussed the attractiveness and impact of PhD training and the relevance of the PhD Hub initiative, as well as DocMob.

Cooperation for impact-oriented research is at the core of the European PhD Hub by brokering research interest between PhD candidates, industry partners and universities. The PhD Hub is reaching a decisive moment in its development as the Birmingham, Alcalá, Thessaloniki and Łodz local hubs look forward to extending cooperation with both industry at large and higher education institutions. This call for participation is extended to members of our network that have previously shown interest and representatives of the European Council of Doctoral Candidates and Junior Researchers (Eurodoc).
