Summary:

The HARS-Santander postgraduate scholarship offers a postgraduate research student the opportunity to apply for a £2000 bursary. In order for the bursary to be awarded, the student needs to be able to demonstrate industry-academic cooperation in a multidisciplinary subject. The scholarship of £2000 can be used to support the student’s research project and enhance their engagement with industry.

High Achievement Recognition Scheme is open to all eligible students who achieve good results academically, and to those who have made significant progress in terms of their own distance travelled academically whilst studying at BCU. It is a scheme which rewards both effort and achievement.

It is the only scheme of its kind in the UK which is currently supporting students at University level to step on and step up and maximise their potential to become the best that they can be alongside their degree qualification.

Eligibility:

In order to be eligible for this scholarship candidates should meet the following criteria:

• postgraduate research student at Birmingham City University
• demonstrate high performing academic engagement
• applying or considering STEAM approach within their research
• attempting to or co-operating in academic-business research
