    Duration: 18 months with the possibility of extending it another 6 months more.
    Amount: € 30,000 gross per year
    Description of the work:
    The work to be carried out is included within the European PALAEMON project in the field of image processing of people in indoor environments where large companies such as Airbus, ATOS, Ericsson, etc. participate in addition to the University of Alcala.
    The contracted person will participate in the implementation of detection algorithms and counting people on smart cameras.
    The cameras will be connected to a communications network for configuration and delivery of
    images. Its operation will be validated in a real demonstration at the end of the development.
    The work to be developed may be the beginning of a doctoral thesis.
    Requirements: Master or PhD in Engineering with knowledge in processing images, Matlab, Linux, electronic HW. Knowledge about FPGAs / SoCs will be assessed additionally.
